The Ma Mian skirt is named for its resemblance to ancient trapezoidal pagodas. It became most popular during the Ming and Qing dynasties, worn by everyone due to its diversity and memorable symbolism. Suitable for traditional festivals, weddings, and everyday wear, it remains one of the most sought-after styles of hanfu today.
The soft pink color is so pretty! The shirt is made of bamboo-textured linen, which fits comfortably and hugs the body. The sleeves are a unique design—light and flowy. The collar has embroidery, and the retro frog buttons add a special touch.
The horse-face skirt is a modified style, with an elastic back and side zipper for easy daily wear. The entire skirt features a cherry blossom gradient print, and the waist is paired with a long beaded chain "jinbu" that sways beautifully when walking.
The embroidered cloud shoulder matches perfectly, with a long trailing tassel (bei yun) at the back.
